"The forfeiture complaints filed in the District of Columbia on July 21 cover more than 470 victims across the two largest actions. Each remission petition will require the same exhibit: a trace from the client's deposits into the named addresses, produced to declaration standard. Once the government posts notice of a forfeiture, anyone claiming the money has about 35 days to act (Supplemental Rule G). Lawyers who want to protect their clients' place in line must move inside that window.
CLOCK 2 · REMISSION
After a forfeiture completes, victims apply for their money back through remission petitions (28 CFR Part 9, §9.8). The DOJ's own form requires documentary proof of the loss. Our memo is that proof. The DOJ already runs these programs at scale (OneCoin, April 2026).
CONTEXT
The Strike Force reports $580M+ seized (February 2026) and $800M+ returned (July 2026 DOJ statement). More filings are expected. Every new filing lets us run this same play again at almost no extra cost.

We are not competing with anyone already hired. The accountant covers the company's books; CipherBlade covers where the crypto went. The permission to hire us already exists (Doc 104), so no new court fight is needed.
First move
A one-page letter to the receiver's law firm offering the pilot, written so the court can approve the expense, pack attached. Before sending: check the court file to confirm no other tracing firm already has the job.
